(See Above) Market was stuck in a low momentum range for most of Monday. The Momentum System stayed dormant through the lack-luster trading session.
(See Above) After a completely dull range bound Monday that offered little to work with, the general market opened lower on Tuesday and gave us “gap and go” continuation to the downside. You can see how the system kept us short all morning with the 3 of the trades giving us multiple point winners. The 2nd trade depending on your entry and how you played it either captured a small amount or ended up in a break-even stop out.
(See Above) Today is best characterized by large choppy waves. The key level early on for the longs was 2133.50. The system alerted us the first time which resulted in a full stop out as the buyers quickly fizzled and abandoned the breakout. The 2nd alert stuck and we ended up with 3.5 points of traction. If you took both trades the day ended up somewhere around a wash.
(See Above) Thursday ended up as a V-Reversal day where the market spent the early portion of the session selling off to a key support level then bouncing hard and sending price right back past the opening price level. The system issued an early short and allowed us to catch the bulk of the first big selling wave for 8.5 points of traction. Two more short alerts gave us diminishing returns. After the market reversed and the buyers took control the system got us long for a full 6 points of traction to the long side. Depending on how you played the trades it ended up being a high point scoring day.
(See Above) Most Fridays the market typically gives us one good move early on and then begins to lose for momentum going forward. The system gave us an early long alert that provided 3.5 points of positive traction. We then went into our Live Round-Table Group Meeting/Training that we do each Friday morning for an hour.
