(See Above) The general market gapped lower at the open today and traded down on high volume. The system caught two high traction shorts early on to take advantage of the early morning sell-off.
(See Above) The sellers attempted to run the market lower again today but couldn’t break the Monday lows. It was a low momentum session with little action to work with. The system alerted us to 2 short plays both of which got squeezed. The system issued failure alerts on both signals shortly after the alerts went out which gives us a chance to either scratch the trade at break-even or at least cut the position in half and tighten the stop.
(See Above) The market gapped up at the open and sold off to “fill the gap” The system got us in short early on to catch the first big selling wave for a +6.5 move to the downside. The system kept us short but the momentum died and the follow-through dropped off a bit on the entries.
(See Above) Thursday ended up being a low range congestion day with the market stuck in between a rock and hard spot for most of the session. The bias was to the upside and the system signaled us to the one good long move of the morning for 6 points of traction after the alert went out. The momentum died down after that and the market went into aimless chop.
(See Above) Friday the general market gapped higher at the open and we kept on going. The system attempted twice to get us long to play the “Gap and Go” Within the first 3 hours of the session the momentum dried up and the longs were turned back at resistance from from the highs of Jan 25, 26, 27 from the previous week.
